This Web page was developed to help artists sell their hand crafted art work and crafts. It is a family oriented web site. And when filled, I hope shows the wonderful talent and cultural differences across the whole United States.

I have a web site called MKD Stained Glass since 2000. This site was built because I was not getting all the hits and sales I would like. So I had an idea and built this site hoping to pull all the talented and gifted artistic web sites together.

Who may participate. The localareaartists.com directory is open to a wide variety of local artists and craftspeople. It is not, however, open to anyone. For example, Local Area Artists LLC will not accept listings from large scale manufacturers, wholesalers of imported goods, multi-level marketing companies or purveyors of pornographic, illegal or offensive materials. Because local area art is difficult to define, Local Area Artists LLC will review each subscription request to ensure that the listing will be appropriate for the directory. The decisions of Local Area Artists LLC on what constitutes an appropriate listing are final and Local Area Artists LLC will not provide explanations of those decisions.

Your site CANNOT hold a costumer there, by stopping the back button from working or by any other method. Also any sites with continued problems with their customers will be removed from this site.

If in the future I find that I find that I have to charge artists, the price will be kept at a price that beginning artists can afford. With the ugliness of the economy it's time to get American's earning money again. Also to show off all the wonderful talent.

You may secure your permanent placement Now with a paid subscription. At this time placement will be delegated on a first come, first serve bases as people apply with a paid subscription, by using the date and time of each application. So please keep in mind that your site may be bumped further down the page or even to the second page by a site that has Paid to secure their spot. After joining your link button can be changed to a small gif/jpg of your logo. Payments will be the first of each month.

To keep the price down I will be using PayPal's monthly subscription at $5.00 a month. If you chose to join PayPal with a Merchant Account there may be a bonus given to the person who referred you. If you say it's Local Area Artists, the money will go into an account that will be donated to The ** Cystic Kidney Foundation** for research and hopefully a cure.

IF possible, once a year with your help I'd like to ask for donations to raffle off for a charity. There is no obligation for you to do this, but you can write it off on your taxes!
